Welcome! I would like to give my sincere gratitude to all of you who visit the website of Gunsan Free Trade Zone Administrative Agency(GFTZAA). Gunsan Free Trade Zone(GFTZ) is a non-tariff, specialized area designated and managed by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy(MKE) to draw foreign investment and promote international trade. In this area, manufacturing, logistics distribution and trade functions are executed manifoldly. And all the administrative procedures like move-in permission, tax support, plant construction are carried out at a one-stop process. After launching the Iksan Export Free Zone in 1973, it has moved here in GFTZ and opened GFTZAA on 24 Oct. 2005. The GFTZAA provides companies with a base for jumping up to all the world and is making Gimje Free Trade Zone near the GFTZ. It may be probable to move in to the Gimje Free Trade Zone at the end of the year 2011. Gunsan and Gimje are two key point areas for advancing into China and North-East Asian area. They have a good accessibility from Seoul, Daejeon, Kwangju and will be a good place for investment. Along with that, the construction of the Saemangeum costal tide prevention embankment has been completed and many large scale projects making industrial areas, excellent cities and renewable energy areas are planned or being carried out now. We GFTZAA will do our best to give our support for making companies so excellent worldly and will also make an effort to contribute to the state and the local area society. Thank you.
